Can you believe the school year is almost over? Mrs. Carlson and I have enjoyed teaching and having fun with your children. They are all unique and have given us many memorable moments to remember. I can’t thank you enough for all your help and support throughout the school year.
Our last show and tell will be the week of May 11th. We will be reviewing the alphabet and numbers 1-20. The children may bring in any item they want. Please try to limit them to two.
Pack up week begins the week of May 18th. We could use some extra hands to help us clean and pack up the toys. Any time that you could spare would be greatly appreciated.
Our outdoor program begins right after Memorial Day. During this time we will be outside most of the day. Please send your child to school with sneakers and make sure they have a sweater or jacket etc. Each child should also come to school with sunscreen on and have their own sunscreen labeled with their own name. They should also have flip-flops or pool shoes, bathing suit, and towel. Boys may come to school wearing their swim trunks. The girls will change into their suits sometime before our pool time. Please refer to Sister’s letter about the outdoor program for additional information.
Our field day will be Wednesday June 11th. All the children may attend even if it is not their day. Let me know if you would like to help co-ordinate this fun day. 
We will begin our field day right after morning assembly. We will have snack and spend the morning doing various fun activities up on the big hill. Hopefully, we will have a nice day and have pool time also. I would like to have an ice cream party to celebrate the summer birthdays. Party favors for the children would also be appreciated.
