5L June!!

Let me first start with a BIG THANK - YOU to all that have come and continue to come and help with cleaning and backing!!!  You have been a HUGH HELP!!

       Here we are in our OUTDOOR program!!! Where does the time go??  As we enter this phase of our school year the children will be needing to bring some additional items with them everyday to school.  You will find a list of items on the following page, please make sure your child has ALL these items and that they are LABELED with your child’s name. 

      FRIDAY JUNE 6th is our class trip to LAND OF MAKE BELIEVE!!  If you have not returned the permission slip, please do so ASAP!!!!  If for some reason your child will not be attending, please return the permission slip stating so.

      THURSDAY, JUNE  12TH is 5L’S FIELD DAY, rain or shine!! All children, parents and siblings are invited to spend a fun filled day of games and activities on the upper field with us!!  Below you will find a form to fill out letting us know if your child and anyone else will be joining us for field day.  PLEASE NOTE:  your child may join us for the day even if it is not their day to come to school and they may come even if you can’t!!  PLEASE return the form ASAP, so we can plan accordingly.  There will be more info to come as we get closer to Field Day!!

*THURSDAY JUNE 12TH 5L’S FIELD DAY ALL WELCOME!!!

OUTDOOR PROGRAM----Hi Everyone,

As we enter the outdoor program there are several additional items the children will be needing on a daily bases  —- ”NO MATTER WHAT THE WEATHER!!”

                         Each child will need to bring:

     1.) their folder

     2.) a SWEATSHIRT, sweater or light jacket

     3.) bathing suit: GIRLS: one piece (please, do not wear to school). 

               BOYS: should wear their bathing suits to camp and pack under-

                wear and shorts for after swimming.

     4.) sandals, water shoes or flip flops (for pool time ONLY!!)

     5.) a towel

     6.) a cover -up, t-shirt

     7.) sun screen

     8.) canteen money (approx. 50 cents a day, send in an envelope for the week)

     All items should be LABELED and brought to camp everyday!!!

      Along with these items the children should dress comfortably according to the weather and always wear SNEAKERS to camp!!!
