Camp Auxilium, conducted by the Salesians Sisters of St. John Bosco, assisted by Red Cross-certified lifeguards, counselors and activity specialists, offers varied land and water activities to its campers. The camping program focuses on recreational, spiritual and social development, as it teaches respect for God and others. Prayer and prayer experiences are an essential part of our camp life. Comfortable facilities and delicious food add to the camper's enjoyment of their experience.

Camp Auxilium provides opportunities for fun, and discovery for campers to learn and grow to become the best persons they can be! Encouraged to participate in new activities through a varied activity schedule and calendar of events, each day includes a refreshing swim, meals, recreational, spiritual and patriotic activities.

Swimming A daily swim in our beautiful pool is both refreshing and fun! Certified by the American Red Cross, our life guards are always there to assist your children. Swimming instruction is also offered on a regular basis.
Spiritual Guidance Camp Auxilium is concerned with fostering the spiritual growth of our campers. Activities and experiences are planned to enhance Christian Development. The Eucharist and Reconciliation, as well as devotion to Mary, are part of our Camp prayer life.
Supervision Camp Auxilium is operated by the Salesian Sisters, assisted by life guards, counselors, and various other personnel. Members of the Camp staff are with the campers at all times in orde to provide the necessary supervision. The Sisters are always present to advise and counsel.
Medical Examinations Medical examinations are not required. However, the medical form, completed and signed by a parent or guardian, must be submitted to the camp along with your child's registration. Please be sure to note any allergies. All medications-presctiptions and otherwise-must be in their original containers and accompanied by a physician's note, and a note of authorization from the parent. Medicines should be left in the camp office at check-in time.
Insurance Since most campers are covered by family insurance, Camp Auxilium does not assume responsibility for any medical expenses.

Directions to Camp Auxilium

From Route 80 East/West:

Take exit for Route 15 North (Exit 34). Stay on Route 15 until the exit for Newton/Sparta/Franklin. At the end of the exit ramp, make a left turn onto Newton-Sparta Rd. Stay on this road directly into the town of Newton. At Mill St. (Hayek's Market), make a left. Go to the next light (Sussex County College), and make a left onto Route 622. Follow signs to Camp Auxilium.
